Panel with Storycatchers Theatre and Victory Gardens

Join Storycatchers and Victory Gardens Theater for a post-show conversation after Victory Gardens’ Pipeline.  Pipeline is the story of Nya, an inner-city public high school teacher, who is committed to her students but desperate to give her only son, Omari, opportunities her students will never have.

The panel will engage Storycatchers speakers and the audience in a discussion about what happens after young people have been affected by the school-to-prison pipeline, and how they can learn to heal and grow from their experiences.  Storycatchers Theatre staff and youth will share their personal stories and discuss how they use theatre to make sense of their world after engaging with the justice system.
