To overcome his tragic childhood, James uses anger management techniques to keep The Angry Monster Inside at bay. Now he must convince his friends to use them too. Will Isaiah accept his basketball suspension over the lure of drugs and easy licks? Will Rayvon persevere in the classroom rather than join a gang? Will James be able to convince himself to stay the course after yet another family tragedy?

This story is in remembrance and tribute to Sarge, an ensemble member recently lost to violence whose personal story inspired much of this production.

Storycatchers Featured at Collaboraction – The Short Works Collection

Storycatchers will be featured in Collaboraction Theatre Company's ENCOUNTER Series in Wicker Park.  Collaboraction's ENCOUNTER Series is a two-week winter festival of theater, dance and spoken word around the themes of equity and inclusion. The festival consists of 6 programs: 3 new full length works, 2 programs of mid-length pieces, and one short works collection.  Storycatchers will be featured in the short works collection.
