Hear the Changing Voices ensemble’s true stories of adversity and strength in LIGHT IN MY DARKNESS, VOLUME 2: three plot threads, three young lives, and countless chances to make it through the darkest parts.
Lee-Lee struggles to focus on school and graduation after a shooting leaves her and her friends devastated. Charlene, the only girl of eight siblings, has been kicked out of eight different schools and now has to step up and learn how to be a role model for her new baby sister. Mikquel ignores his mother’s warnings and goes to a friend’s place—what happens there is a secret that might be too big for him to keep hidden.
Can these young people find their way when the path is unclear? Look closely and you’ll see the light in their darkness.
