Posted: 4/5/2010

Teens Together (TT) program alumni, as well as former Fabulous Females (FF) from the Illinois Youth Center-Warrenville, and Temporary LockDown (TLD) at the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center, are still fabulous, and working hard at home and in the community to educate themselves, earn a living, and take care of their children:

Katrina Addison (FF 09) is a full time student at Illinois Central College, a sales representative for Liberty National and sings in her church choir. She is also practicing her flute again.

Darrion Taylor (TLD playwright and acting ensemble September 09-December 09) is taking acting classes in his hometown of Belleville, IL.

Jessica Pichon (FF 07-08) is engaged, planning a September wedding, and starting college for cosmetology. She also sells Avon cosmetics.

Imani Watson (TT playwriting and summer theatre ensemble 06-09) was accepted into the Princeton Summer Journalism Program. PSJ welcomes 20 high school students from low- income backgrounds every summer to Princeton's campus for an intensive, 10-day seminar on journalism. The program pays for all expenses, including travel.

Jacinta Wallace (Columbia College AYCD Intern 05-07) is a new mother. Her daughter, Siri Hyacinth Wallace, was born January 31, 2010 in Los Angeles, CA. Jacinta is living and working in LA.
