Acting on the belief that music can transform lives, effect social change, and transcend cultural divides, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's (CSO) Institute for Learning, Access and Training has joined Storycatchers Theatre in a program partnership to serve incarcerated youth. CSO Chorus members Sarah Ponder and Elizabeth Gray, as well as Cayenne Harris, Director of Learning and Access Initiatives at the Institute, spent the early spring as part of the Storycatchers' teaching ensemble at the Illinois Youth Center-Warrenville.

"Sarah and Elizabeth are wonderful additions to the Fabulous Females program," remarked Storycatchers' Artistic Director, Meade Palidofsky. "They are not only skilled singer/actors; Sarah and Elizabeth have an interest and ability to teach, model performance technique, and really connect to the girls with whom we work."
