Caroline Donnelly, an alumnus of the Summer Theatre Ensemble, spent last summer in the Victory Garden Sound Off! Program, honing her playwriting skills. Her original script “To Scar Love On Her Arm,” was well received at a staged reading produced and directed by professional artists in August.

Briana Morris, a performer in both Tall Enough to Quake and Fiery Tales, played a teenage mother of two in the musical "Tell Hell I Ain't Comin'" at the New Regal Theater.
Lizette Leanos, one of our favorite cast members from Fiery Tales, is a sophomore at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in community health/pre-med. Lizette is a Spanish-English translator at Frances Nelson Clinic and does research in the Integrative Immunology & Behavior Laboratory.
Baby alert! Nicole Moore, veteran of several MTW programs is due to deliver a baby boy on November 24th. Nicole is delighted to let every one know that his name is going to be Micah James Moore!
Anthony Wilson sings with the 25th Anniversary Ensemble. Anthony is a Temporary Lockdown IV & V alumnus. He toured with MTW’s professional performance group for 2 years after leaving the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center. Anthony is married and working in the real estate industry. He and his wife Shronda have three girls: Iyonna, 10, Zyaire, 7, and Kennedy, 5.
DeAngelo Horton, 32, Temporary Lockdown alumnus, is achieving his dream of using music to work with south and west side youth. He is working at Precious Blood on 51st street with Father David Kelly, Catholic Chaplain of the CCJTDC. He is also collaborating with James Chapman, an attorney who teaches a volunteer communications class at Stateville Prison. DeAngelo is helping the inmates write a script about their experiences and the poor living conditions at Stateville. With Father Kelly and Mr. Chapman, DeAngelo attends restorative justice forums speaking out on behalf of those silenced by incarceration. DeAngelo is engaged to Mathena Crawl and is expecting his first child in February.
