Drama and Drumming

The Drama and Drumming Ensemble is an after-school program. Once a month local teens gather to learn and practice storytelling and performance skills such as vocalization, articulation, singing, drumming and movement.

The Drama and Drumming Ensemble creates scenes centered on a specific community issue that directly affects teens.

This program provides a great opportunity for teens to gain performance skills and experience on-stage and in the field of community activism-excellent building blocks for young, civic-minded actors and actresses. The teens will learn the importance of social change by telling and hearing stories about themselves and their surrounding communities.
