The Teens Together programs provide a roadmap for Chicago area youth to navigate successfully through a period of their lives that is rich with both opportunities and challenges. As a result, they gain decision making skills that will help them become responsible, committed citizens of action.
- Fabulous Females - Illinois Youth Center, Warrenville
Fabulous Females serves young women incarcerated at Illinois Youth Center (IYC) at Warrenville. The year-round program provides an outlet for the young women to experience the success of personal development through the writing and performance of songs, poems, stories and scenes inspired by their personal experiences.
- Temporary LockDown
The Temporary LockDown program brings storytelling, movement and drumming workshops to the young men detained at the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (CCJTDC) as well as those incarcerated at Illinois Youth Center, St. Charles (IYC-St. Charles).
